Why should we let all the West Coast people have all the fun with their Costume College/Con26 shinanigans? ;)

In the 'bouncing idea off each other' stage is the musings of a masked reception (yay pretty dresses!) at the David Davis Mansion in Bloomington, Illinois in late May to early June. We're thinking Saturday night? (After-party perhaps?) But you ask, "Drive to Illinois for one night of partying?? " What do you think would be a fitting top-off? How about a Fitting Lunch! The idea for Sunday morning/afternoon is to get together, have lunch, and have a mass fitting for toiles. Need a doublet pattern? Can do! How about en furreau pleats? No problem! Civil War era bodice? err.. I can't, but I'm sure somebody else in the room could! Or even if you need a hem marked/opinions/guidance, we seamstresses stick together! No fitting you need done? Bring some sewing and be social! 

As said above, this is still the idea stage. If enough interest is shown, it could move into more difinitive planning stage. So, are you interested? Let us know!
